1940s Western Desert Wildflowers - Landscape Painting

Nicely composed Western landscape painting where vibrant grasses and springtime wildflowers dot the desert expanse in the foreground while purple shaded mountain caps hold the last vestiges of snow in the distance. Signed lower right, H.E. Gotsch, 1946. Faded sticker on the reverse notes "Clara from Howard" along with a sticker from an Oak Park, IL art/frame shop. Lively short brushstrokes convey the explosion of life in the desert. Blustery skies beyond. Painted ivory frame with thin teal colored filet nicely frame this vintage piece. Some scratches and discoloration on the frame; painting would benefit from a light cleaning but certainly ready to hang and enjoy, as-is.
