British Pearlware Scalloped Shell Hand Painted Polychrome Floral Pitcher Jug Circa 1830s-1840s

Antique British molded scalloped shell pearlware pitcher / jug. Nicely decorated with polychrome floral design in pink, blue, black and green on one side, and pink, black and green on the other. Has copper luster highlights along the handle and lip. Unmarked. Circa 1830s to 1840s.

Has crazing typical of earthenware, some staining and a tight crack through part of the bottom of the handle.

Measures approximately 6 1/4 inches from spout to handle x 7 1/8 inches tall.
