William Adderley Cobalt Blue Lily 2696 & Clouded Gold Ewer / Jug Circa 1876-1905

Nice late 19th century earthenware ewer / jug. Decorated in the Lily pattern with cobalt blue lilies over white with clouded gold daubs. The neck, handle, and foot rim are brown with clouded gold gilt overlay. Marked on the bottom Adderley in blue and 2696. I was not able to date this mark; however, other pieces in this pattern have an Adderley mark used between 1876 and 1905.

Has crazing typical of earthenware and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.

Measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide x 8 1/2 inches tall.
