Early 19th Century British Red Bat Print Scene Hand Enameled Copper Luster Jug
Rare early 19th century century British copper luster jug / pitcher. Has a central red bat print transfer scene with two figures, a cottage, and a beehive over white on one side, with a hand enameled red and pink luster flower in the center below the spout, and a red bat print transfer scene depicting two figures on the other side. Unmarked.
Has some wear consistent with age and use. Also has one large and two smaller chips to the spout, and a chip to the foot rim. Otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide x 4 1/8 inches tall.
