This is a nice piece of Whites Pottery made in Utica, NY. around 1890. It is a stoneware pitcher that has a rough bark exterior with raised wild roses on both sides of the pitcher. Indigo ink has been layered on the roses and down the handle and down from the spout. There is a chip on the spout and crazing on the inside of the pitcher. The piece measures 7”H x 6.5” W from lip to handle. Nice piece for display or use.
