The hinged handles of these impressive examples of George V silverware are segmented to incorporate three ribbed, collared rounded portions below the serrated lever jaws.
The interior of the handle bears the retailer's mark 'Dryad', in addition to the full and part hallmarks.
Condition
These antique silver nutcrackers are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the internal surface of one handle and part hallmarks to the other are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
