Antique Augis ring "more than yesterday less than tomorrow" in yellow gold 18 karats (750), signed. The ring is surmounted by an oval plate delicately worked in laurel leaves, which have slightly faded with time. The ring is soberly decorated and separates into two strands of gold on the edges of the tray. The "+" sign is set with five diamonds and the "-" sign is set with a baguette cut treated natural ruby. This refers to a quote from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poetess, to her love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: "For, you see, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow". Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis takes up these verses in his "medals of love" by condensing them into "+ than yesterday - than tomorrow".
