Antique Edwardian 18ct 18k Gold Natural Ruby & Diamond 5 Stone Ring / Band US Size 6.75

An antique 18ct gold ring set with three rubies and two old mine cut diamonds. It has decorative detail to the shoulders and the stones are prong set inside a small channel. Nice clear hallmarks to the interior for the Chester assay office and 1903 making this an Edwardian period ring. It also has the maker's initials RP and also impressed 1868.

A very nice example of an antique ring and you can see the design development moving forward from the gypsy setting commonly used during this period.
