This is an exceptional 100% hand painted, early 1900, Scenic Limoges France Charger.
The Charger, measuring a large 12-1/2", displays, what I believe is the Greek Goddess of Spring..."Persephone".
In this depiction, the Goddess is walking across the skies, roses below her feet, half nude and half dressed in a wonderful gown of lavender decor. Note the two Cherubs playing their flutes to the side.
The Charger is in excellent condition and is without damage.
The Charger displays an early Green "France" mark and is artist signed "Pearl E. Smith" and dated 3/7/1901.
