Beautifully decorated is this vintage 1900's, possibly French, Scenic Vase of Napoleon.
The stunning looking European Vase, which measures about 3-7/8" tall, displays the famous Napoleonic Scene from the War of the Fourth
Coalition famously painted by the French Artist, Horace Vernet and displaying "Napoleon Reviewing the Imperial Guard at the Bataille de Jena"
during the French decisive victory over Prussia. The detail Scene has been outlined in heavy gold stenciling against a background of deep red
& cream yellow. Heavy gold stenciling is found throughout the Vase. Just below the top outer rim is an attractive band of hand painted "Holly
& Berry" interlaced with Pink Ribbon. The bottom of the gorgeous Vase, in 3 separate locations, displays the "Crown Mark Over N"
The beautiful Napoleonic Scenic Vase is in excellent condition and totally free of chips, cracks, or other damage. The gold is between excellent
and pristine throughout !
The exquisite Scenic Vase displays the Mark: "Crown over N" in Gold and "Bataille de Jena" in Red Script. The original Artist, "Vernet" signature
is displayed the well done transfer.
The gorgeous Napoleonic Scenic Vase is striking in appearance and displays exceptionally well.
