This is a wonderful large example of Adolph Heidrich work at his best; a hand painted, most likely Limoges France, Scenic Vase-Lamp.
The beautiful and stunning Limoges Scenic Vase-Lamp, which measures 25" tall, with the Vase, itself, measuring a large 18" tall & 10-1/2"
wide from outer handle to outer handle. The large Vase-Lamp displays an impressive "Arab Warrior on Horseback" as he moves through
a meadow, near a stream, in a mountainous terrain. Heidrich has captured the essence of a harden Desert Warrior, dressed to protect
himself from the brutal sun and weather as he rides his beautiful white stallion. Note the long rifle the Warrior carries along his side.
Heavy gold gilding at the top of the Vase-Lamp & on the two large handles adds greatly to the beauty of this masterpiece.
Heidrich wonderful artwork, use of colors and his outstanding presentation are what you would expect from such a Master Decorator.
The stunning Limoges Scenic Vase-Lamp of the "Arab Warrior on Horseback" is in excellent condition and totally free of chips, cracks,
or other damage with some light wear on the gold along the handles. [See photos]. The Lamp does work, but it is strongly suggested
that one should rewire older lamps.
