Gorgeous Karl Ens Volkstedt 1900's Porcelain Hand Painted "Butterfly" Figurine
The Karl Ens Porcelain Factory operated from 1890 to 1972 in Volkstedt, Tettau Germany. The company was widely known for the
high quality and artistry of its works and one-of-a-kind porcelain figurines of the animal world:. Their strength were birds and butterfly
figurines. Karl Ens sculptures are displayed in every major art museum in Europe and were highly prized by those lucky enough to afford them.
Being offered, individually, are three  beautiful and rare porcelain butterflies, made by the Karl Ens Porcelain Co. of Volkstedt, Tettau Germany.
These lovely porcelain butterflies with wings partially opened are decorated in three distinct different decors and colors with two being heavily
gilded in gold trim. I have included 8 different photos for your viewing. The detail to form and color is fabulous on all three. The Butterfly Figurines
are all close to the same dimensions and measure roughly as follows: Salmon Colored Butterfly: 2" long, 1-5/8" tall, & 2-1/2 wide........Blue Colored
Butterfly: 2" long, 1-5/8" tall, & 2-1/4" wide........Black & Blue Colored Butterfly: 2" long, 1-3/4" tall, & 2-3/4" tall.
Each of the attractive Karl Ens hand painted "Butterflies" are in excellent condition and totally free of chips, cracks, or other damage.
The gorgeous hand painted "Butterfly" Figurines each display a Karl Ens Factory mark, which was used starting in 1919 up to 1972.
