The professional China Decorator Artist, Howard Reury, was one of the best known artist during the first 50 years of the 20th century. He started his phenomenal career with the most respected China Decorating Studio of the day, Pickard Studios. He joined the prestigous Chicago Ceramics Art Association, early on, and was an acquaintance of Franz Aulich, another member of the Association. After leaving the Pickard Studios, he operated his own Decorating Studio during the WWI years. Later he decorated for Pitkin & Brooks, the White Art Co., and Wight Studio. He virtually knew every well known artist of the day. As an artist, he was highly known for his fabulous floral & fruit creations.
