Attractive B & Co. Limoges France & Pickard Studio of Chicago 1912 Hand Painted "Encrusted Fruits" 10-7/8" Plate by the Listed Artist, "Nesha Tolpin"

The Pickard Artist, Nesha Tolpin emigrated to the U.S. from Russia in 1907. Tolpin immediately started working for the Pickard Studio of Chicago and was well known for her meticulous and detailed decorating. After her career at Pickard she went to work decorating for the Rivir Studio of Chicago. Alan Reed in his Pickard Collectors Book displays over 1/2 dozen photographs of Tolpin's outstanding decorating.

This is a fine example of Tolpin's outstanding decorating skills......a beautiful hand painted 1912 Fruit decor Plate decorated on a Limoges France blank.

The beautiful hand painted Pickard Plate, which measures 10-7/8" wide, has been exceptionally decorated with the "Encrusted Fruit" decor. Please take the time to look at the detail and intricate work of this master artist from 100 years ago.

The attractive Pickard "Encrusted Fruits" Plate is in very good condition and totally free of chips, cracks, or other damage with the extensive and heavy gilded gold far better than excellent.

The exquisite hand painted "Encrusted Fruits" Plate displays a double mark; "B & Co. Limoges France" and Pickard Studio of Chicago Mark # 7, which was use from 1912--1918.

The gorgeous Pickard "Encrusted Fruits" Plate shows and displays exceptionally well.
