Gorgeous C.F. Monroe Wavecrest 1890's "Enameled Daisy" 4-1/2" Dresser Jewelry Casket.
The C.F. Monroe Co. in Meridian, Connecticut was noted for their fine opal glass items including a variety of sizes, types, and color Dresser Jewelry Casket and offered very popular lines at the turn of the 19th Century including Kelva, Nakara, and of course Wavecrest.
This is a wonderful example of an unmarked C.F. Monroe Wavcrest 1890's Floral Dresser Jewelry Casket. The beautiful Casket has brass ormolu fittings with a working hinge.
The attractive Wavecrest Dresser Jewelry Casket is in good condition and totally free of chips, cracks, or other damage with the brass being very good. Their is no liner in the Casket.
Like many C.F. Monroe pieces, this Jewelry Casket is unmarked but probably had a paper label at one time.
