Flame mahogany knife and cutlery box with star inlay, circa 1790s
- All original, including original interior and engraved silver escutcheon
- Mahogany veneer construction with beautiful serpentine front
- Very good condition (there are some well-done aged repairs and a slight warp on top)
- The opening in the wood above the keyhole is the hole where the latch sets in when lid is closed
- 15” tall, 9” wide, 12-1/2” deep
- Circa 1790s
