Antique French Gold Filled locket with cross and seed pearls

Antique Victorian gold filled French locket from the late 1800s or early 1900s. Features a cross design on the front, embedded with seed pearls, which represented purity. In the past the interior contained a removable glass to protect keepsakes, but it has been lost to time. There is still space to store flowers from a bouquet, photos, or a special memory. The locket closes securely and is in good vintage condition with gold loss to the reverse, visible in photos. A lovely rosy color, almost rose gold, it makes a beautiful and romantic impression.
