A Rare , Unique and Absolutely Beautiful Antique Gold Gilt Sterling Silver Brooch with Delicate Ornate Details.

The shape is in an oval fashion and the north and south ends features two different ornate swirled motifs.

It has a dotted border that goes all around the pin followed by ornate scrolls and fleur de lis motifs. This surrounds a raised floral pattern leading to an oval recess in which is another floral motif with a fancy prong set genuine white seed pearl in its center.

The back features a glass window that can be opened to hold a picture or strand of hair.

Even more fascinating is that it functions as a pendant and pin.

The gold gilt highlights the patterns and motifs even more while adding to the delicate refined beauty of this piece. Breathtaking.

Measurements

Weighs 12 grams.

1 3/4 inch or 45mm North to South × tad over 1 inch or 29 mm East to West.

No marks. Tested solid sterling.

It is in excellent antique condition with some patina and wear .
Note it can be worn as a pendant both vertically and horizontally.

There are rings on both ends to attach a chain on either sides.
A rare heirloom treasure for any fine collection of jewelry.

It is very unique and beautifully detailed. A pleasing piece to enjoy wearing and treasure.
