A superb antique Edwardian carved Shell Cameo and Gemstone Gold Plated Expanding Bracelet / Bangle with box.

This beautiful antique Edwardian Gold Plated expanding Bracelet/Bangle features a central hand carved Shell Cameo of an Edwardian lady in profile with a surround of clear inset Gemstones which also branch out to either side. The Bracelet has a lovely embossed design around the top and bottom perimeter. It features an unusual expanding Slide Clasp enabling the Bracelet to simply be slipped over the hand and then refastened.

The Bracelet has a closed interior length of 7.4" and an expanded length of 8.8" (please ensure that the length would be adequate to fit over your hand before purchasing). The front has a width of 2.5cm and it weighs 16.7g. The Clasp mechanism works very well and the catch holds tightly. I am unsure of what the Gemstones are but I would say either Paste (Glass) or Crystal. The Bracelet is in very good antique condition as shown.

The Box measures 3.5" x 3.2" x 1.2". It is in very good condition as shown with a good working tension hinge.
