Rare antique Victorian 'dwarf elephant ear' and ivy majolica plate - hand painted green and red glaze over the impressed body highlighting the veins and stems of the leaves - unsigned - United Kingdom - circa 1880.

Good antique condition - a couple of edge chips (as photographed) - wear in areas to the glaze exposing the clay base (mostly to the ivy leaves) - extensive glaze crazing - no restoration - signs of age and use.
