Vintage Leather Reptile Skin - Clutch / Shoulder Purse

1980’s Patchwork Reptile Leather Purse

- Although *unmarked, this clutch is in the style of designer
John Bates working under the name ‘Jean Varon’. This is
*most likely due to the stain marks around the edges and
under the flap.

- This 1980’s clutch is made from 9 various sized reptile skins
artfully stitched together with zig zag fashion, front and back.
The complimentary color tones range from cream to brown.
Nicely made however as noted above there are stains on the
interior leather, clearly visible in the photos.

- The accordion style clutch has many interior pocket
- 3 large pockets lined with a heavy grosgrain / 2- 6” leather
lined slip pockets / 1 -7” leather lined zip pocket .

- Height 6” Width 10” Depth 1”-3” Drop 11-1/2” (lightweight gold
tone shoulder chain). The front corners have 1-1/2” gold tone
corner protectors as well as a strong gold tone snap closure.

The purse has little to know wear with a few noted imperfections.
