Black Quilted Velvet ‘Rambling Rose’ Jacket

Black Velvet Quilted Jacket with Large Rambling Rose Appliqué

This fun quilted jacket is made from black velvet, fully lined in a cranberry
colored satin, featuring a whimsical appliqué-embroidered rose on the back.

The jacket body is comprised of 7 quilted panels finished with double top
stitching. All of the quilted panels run vertical with the exception of the front
panels which runs horizontal (nice design touch). The edges are finished with
1/4 heavy satin welting. The covered cranberry satin buttons feature a black
embroidered flower. The large whimsical flower on the back is primarily made
from hand stitched velvet ribbons and yarn with a center cluster of white beads,
with extensive adornments to complete the design. Also, the arm sleeves as well
as the side seams of the jacket feature small vents for added comfort and style.

The velvet jacket was very gently worn and is in great condition. *There is a rough
spot on the shoulder where the jacket was repaired, see in the magnified photo.
