Cobalt and heavy gold plate by Asch Herbiniere Siroteau, ceramist and decorator in Sainte-Radegonde, Tours, France 1891-1899. The decoration within the gold is Fleur-de-lys, the symbol for France. In the the center is the Joan of Arc coat of arms! - a naked sword pointing upwards towards a crown and then flanked by two fleur de lis. Above this is another crown with jewels joined by griffins on each side. This incredible piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs. There are no surface scratches. There is a tiny bit of wear to the gold on the inside band. It is fabulous!
