Early 19th Century English Pottery - two piece set comprising a two handled footed bowl and lozenge shaped dessert dish. The lavender ground embossed with white ribbon tied flowers and foliage in relief and finely painted polychrome floral reserves, all highlighted by gilt decoration. The pattern is similar to the highly collectible Spode pattern, Maritime Rose. The pieces have no identifying marks, but I believe they are probably antique Staffordshire or Copeland / Spode. Both are in very good condition with minor surface wear and wear to the gilt decoration on both pieces. There is a hairline crack and significant wear to the gilt rim on the dish. Please see all photos. Dish: 7 1/2"W x 11"L x 1 1/2"D Bowl: 3 1/4"H x 7 1/2"W
