This is Effanbee's 1984 11" Limited Edition "Candi Cane" Doll. This edition is #1649 of a Limited Edition of 3,100. She is dressed in a full candy cane cotton print apron with red bias trim on the bottom of the apron, just above the double gathered apron bottom. This red bias theme continues to the top of the apron, around the gathered sleeves. This apron covers her full floor length green satin long puffy sleeved dress with white lace trim at the ends of the sleeves and around her neck. She has a long, white, lace trimmed petticoat and white lace trimmed pantaloons to match. "Candi" wears knee-high white hose and white satin pumps. She wears a red satin ribbon belt around her waist which ties in the back into a long trailing bow. She has a gorgeous short curly hair style with one long spiral curl coming from the left side of her hair and trailing down the left front of her apron, accented with a red satin ribbon with a bow tied to the left side of her hair. She has blue "sleep" eyes, painted on brown eyebrows and eyelashes, rosy cheeks and pink lipstick. She comes with her "Certificate of Identity" stating that she is #1649 of 3,100 commissioned to be made exclusively in 1984, a copy of the letter from the Effanbee Company explaining the commission and her original wrist tag. "Candi" comes in her original box, which shows no wear. She has been stored in a smoke free home.
