Here we have a gorgeous, vintage Lalique "Chouette" paperweight. The French word "Chouette" translates to Owl in English. This piece is composed entirely of clear and frosted Lead crystal, manufactured at the Lalique factory in France back in the early 1970s! It is hand-signed via etching near the bottom edge of the base, "Lalique France". The etched signature is holding up well for a 50-year-old piece of cut crystal!
This beautiful crystal Lalique Owl paperweight is in great condition, apart from the tiny fleabite in the crystal on the back of the Owl's head (see photos). Due to this blemish, the piece is being sold AS-IS at a discounted price! Add the Lalique "Chouette" Barn Owl to your collection today...
