A wonderful object, scratch built from found objects and consisting mainly of brass and copper sections. A construction of the Early 20th Century, likely English in origin with all its original worn paint still present, if a bit faded. Both copper paddles turn perfectly, and the rudder is movable also. Stood on 2 pine support feet.
Size in inches: H 19” x W 20” x D 8”
Period: Early 20th Century
Material: Copper and Brass
Origin: United Kingdom
Completely solid in structure and form, missing sections, worn edges and loss of paint in sections (which reveal the brass underneath). An aged object so please expect relevant age-related wear. Its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas in this piece, therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment.
