Stunning antique French porcelain dressing table set on tray, including two lidded cream or powder bowls, a ring holder dish and two perfume bottles. Golden gild has been applied carefully and painstakingly by hand to accentuate the milky white porcelain. Simply sublime, we see patterns painted at the microscopic level and large decorative motifs. The pink pastel helps bring colour and life to the pieces. Though reserved in the forms used, the ring holder plate is nevertheless shaped with the motif of a branch for a playful twist.

Inscribed with “M” at bottom of tray, dated to 19th century ,France.

Excellent antique condition, almost no loss to gilt overall, just slight loss on tips of lids and one part on powder pot; and fantastic quality. Please carefully regard all photos.
