This is a Heyworth men's wristwatch in a rose-tone case. The watch comes with a worn scissor-style stretch band that appears to match the case. The face features the hours represented by Arabic numerals with a separate second hand where the 6 o'clock hour would be. This is a manual mechanical watch in working condition when wound. The back of the watch has a brushed finished and is stamped with the words Base Metal.
When timed, the watch gains approximately three (3) minutes over a 24-hour period. The crystal has a few dots on the surface as well as a scratch in the bottom left corner. Face shows signs of discoloration, especially along the left side with a dark spot over the 2 o’clock hour. Case has various surface abrasions from use over time while the surface of the stretch band is well worn with the base metal showing through on most links.
Case: The crown is at the 3 o’clock position. The back case cover is stamped I.W.C.C. Base Metal on the outside and Illinois Watch Case Co., 10KT. RGP Bezel, Stainless Back, 7158193 on the inside. Case is approximately 22 mm wide by 29 mm tall, not including the surrounding bar the band is attached to.
Dial: Marked as Heyworth with black numerals. The hour and minute hands are black with a blue reflection in the light and there is a 60 second sub-dial with the same black / blue second hand.
Movement: The movement is marked Clinton Watch Co., 7Seven Jewels, Unadjusted, and Swiss.
Strap: The strap is a worn 14 mm wide rose-tone scissor-style stretch band.
