The color mix of the faux tortoise shell is slightly different on these two vintage celluloid hair combs but the form and size are the same. They have two prongs and a decorative scalloped top in a domed fan shape with fine openwork detail. The combs are approximately 6 1/2 inches long and 3 3/4 inches measured straight across. The prongs are tight and slightly overlap at rest. One of the edges on one of the fans is slightly off the curvature but this is likely a production flaw, is only noticeable on close inspection, and does not detract. The combs are overall in excellent condition and the price is for both.
