Today I'm offering 8 wonderful pieces of Charlie Brown memorabilia in the form of 7 paperback books and one stunning hardcover book. In 1950, Charles M. Schulz created Charlie Brown and today the world still enjoys Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang and it will for many generations to come.
The Happy Birthday, Charlie Brown Book features 30 years in the comic strips and 15 years on television. It is Copyrighted in 1979 by United Feature Syndicate, Inc., and Published by Random House. Movie and TV producer Lee Mendelson collaborated with Charles Schulz to put this book together. This wonderful book has 160 pages filled with color and black and white photos of Charles Schulz and numerous comic strips of Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang.
**Condition: *The Dust Jacket is clean and bright and in good- condition. There are 12 tiny to small tears along the top and bottom edges of the front and back of the dust jacket. There is also a tiny piece missing from the top edge of the front of the dust jacket. *The front and back covers are in very good condition, very clean and bright. *The inside pages are in near mint condition, very clean and bright.
Listed below is each paperback book and its condition:
1.) “It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”: a First Signet Printing, August, 1968, Book Number AE1538. **Condition: Very good condition; The book is clean and in good condition.
2.) “Charlie Brown's All-Stars”, a Signet First Printing in July, 1967, Book Number P3243. **Condition: Good condition; There is surface wear, crease marks, and edge wear on the front and back covers. The last 5 pages have very light moisture staining.
3.) “Charlie Brown's All-Stars”, a Signet Second Printing, a Scholastic Book Club Edition. **Condition: Good condition; There is surface wear and edge wear to the front and back covers. The first 4 pages are not attached to the spine.
4.) “We Love You Snoopy”, a Fawcett Book First Printing in February, 1970, Book Number D1378. This book is packed with comic strips featuring both Snoopy and his good friend Charlie Brown. **Condition: Good- condition; There is surface wear and edge wear to the front and back covers and a punched hole near the bottom edge of the front cover. There is a name written on the inside of the back cover.
5.) “Good Grief Charlie Brown”, a Crest First Printing in June 1963, Book Number S619. Packed with super comic strips of the gang. **Condition: This book is the same one as No. 6 below except for the fact that it was printed earlier. We are not counting this book in the price because the condition of it is very poor, especially the covers.
6. “Good Grief Charlie Brown”, a Fawcett Book Fourteenth Printing in January, 1968, Book Number D1129. Packed with super comic strips of the gang.**Condition: Good- condition; There is surface wear to both covers especially near the top edge of the front cover. There is edge wear to both covers and tiny crease marks to the corners.
7. “What next, Charlie Brown” a Fawcett Book, Nineteenth Printing, February, 1970, Book Number D1140. This book is also packed with great vintage comic strips of the Peanut Gang.**Condition: There is light surface wear to the front and back covers. There are crease marks to the front and back covers and minor chipping to the left edge of the back cover. There is a light stain mark on the bottom left edges of the inside pages.
All six books will tickle your funny bones as you go back in time and read comic strips that you may have never have read before. And even if you did read them before, they will be twice as funny this time.
