Pictured for sale are Two Vintage Metal Coin Banks from the 1950's - 1960's including a Tick-Tock Brand Peaches Bank and an Alpo Brand Dog and Cat Food Bank.
1.)"Tick-Tock Brand Bank” made by the California Packing Corporation of San Francisco, California, U.S.A. The can held 1lb 12 oz. of sliced yellow cling peaches which were packed without sugar and sweeten to taste. This bank measures 3” in diameter and is 4 ¼” tall.
Featured on the front and back of the paper label is a cute girl with curly hair dressed in white and blue holding a pocket watch to her ear to hear the tick-tock-tick-tock of the watch.
**Condition: The can is in good+ condition, very clean. The paper label is in very good condition, very clean and bright. *Can: There is some surface wear and a tiny dent to the bottom of the can. There is some surface wear to the top of the can too.
2.)”Alpo Brand Bank” made by Allen Products Co., Inc., General Office, Allentown, Pa., 18001, U.S.A. The product was imported by S. A. Liggett & Myers Tob. Co. N.V. Brussels R.C.B. 346.403. The can measures 4 3/8" tall and 3" in diameter.
One side of the paper label is in French and the other side is in Dutch. They both say “Pure Chicken Meat for Dogs and Cats”.
**Condition: The can is in very good condition, very clean. The paper label is in good condition. *Can: The can is still sealed with an opening in the top for the coins. *Paper Label: There are light to medium stains on the label.
