Pictured are two really cool “Baby Boomer Games” including 1958 Bob-A-Loop Skill Game and 1960’s Oops!! Travel Card Game that will help you take a trip back in time. Below is a description of each game and its condition:
1.)The first game is one of the 101 Top Baby Boomer toys of all time. The Bob-A-Loop Toy which is a scientifically balanced dexterity skill toy enjoyed by millions of children at Christmas time in 1958. Only the Hula Hoop in 1958 out sold the Bob-A-Loop toy by selling over 20 million hoops in just 6 months leading up to Christmas. The Bob-A-Loop was made by Romco Enterprises, Inc., of Balto, Maryland, and was sponsored by "The Romper Room", a very popular children's show. Unfortunately younger kids were hurting themselves and damaging things around the house while playing with the toy. The game asks kids to test their skills and try to do the 7 tricks listed on the outside of the box and also to create their very own tricks with friends.
**Condition of Bob-A-Loop Toy: The outside of the box is in good condition with minor edge wear and one small tear along the top edge. The toy itself has never been played with and is in mint condition.
2.)The next toy is a cool game called "Oops!! Travel Card Game" from the 1960’s made by the Built-Rite Company, Game Number 2484, and issued by Warren Paper Products Company of Lafayette, Indiana. Built-Rite made a large number of very collectible games through-out the 1950’s and 1960’s. The game comes with 20 Game Cards and 3 Speedometer Playing Boards. The object of the game is to land the Speedometer pointer on the 65 M.P.H. space and, OOPS!!, if a player goes over the 65 M.P.H. space, the player must reduce his speed to the amount noted on the bottom of the card. The first player to land on the 65 M.P.H. space, WINS THE GAME. The game can be played with 2 or 3 players, age 7 and up.
**Condition of Oops!! Travel Card Game: The box has some edge wear and a small tear along one edge along the bottom of the box. The playing cards and the Speedometer playing boards are in very good condition.
