Offered for sale is this Towle's Log Cabin Syrup Metal Tin Bank from 1979. The Towle Company was founded in 1898 by P.J. Towle in Fairfax, Vt., St. Paul, Minn. From the very beginning Towle's Syrup was America's #1 favorite and was found in millions of homes at breakfast. Over the years they made a variety of tins, some which are quite collectable.
This tin has neat graphics---one side is showing a youngster outside the cabin door holding a can of Towle's Syrup. The other side shows the Towle's Log Cabin logo and a picture of the cabin. On the bottom of the tin it reads---Log Cabin and Towle's are registered trademarks of General Foods Corporation, Copyright 1979, General Foods Corporation. It measures 5” long x 4¾” high and 3¼” wide.
**Condition: This Log Cabin Syrup Tin Bank is in very good condition. The tin shows light surface wear on the sides and tiny scratches on the bottom.
A very nice tin bank to add to any Vintage tin collection. A cool gift to give your mom who enjoyed loading her Mom's homemade pancakes with Towle's Syrup when she was a little girl.
