These Six Occupied Japan Wooden Salad or Snack Bowls are not only useful but also a very nice addition to any Occupied Japan Collection. After the end of WWII America occupied Japan from 1945 through 1952 helping Japan's economy get back on its feet. Billions of small dime store items along with larger specialty toys and everyday goods found there way into the United States and other countries. During those years all items made in Japan had to be stamped somewhere on the item with "Made In Occupied Japan".
These six wooden bowls measure 6" in diameter across the top and 2" deep. Each bowl is stamped on the bottom "Made in Occupied Japan". As you can see from the photos, all six bowls have light surface scratches on the inside from being used. Otherwise they are in very good condition and are very well made.
