A Little History of the Van Brode Milling Company: The Van Brode Milling Company of Clinton, Mass., made eight different cereals throughout the 1950's and included these toy figures as free prizes inside the boxes of cereal. They came in at least 8 different colors and measured 1 7/8" to 2" high and 1 1/4" wide x 1/2" deep. The company always made pairs of male and female figures showing them in their countries traditional costumes.
