Today I'm offering a fantastic piece of Rock n' Roll memorabilia--a 1958 Official American Bandstand New Dick Clark Yearbook featuring the one and only Dick Clark. This Yearbook has tons of great pictures of Dick Clark, numerous teen idols, and, of course, the Bandstand teenage dancers.
For anyone who grew up in the 1950's and 1960's and watched American Bandstand, this Yearbook will bring back fond memories of your own old teenage years. Listed below are some of the highlights found inside its 40 pages.

Here's a list of the stars that performed on the show: Fabian, Frankie Avalon, Patti Page, Polly Bergen, Pat Boone, Tab Hunter, Johnny Mathis, Fats Domino, Tommy Sands, Duane Eddy, The Chipmunks, Chuck Connors, Steve Lawrence, Connie Francis, Annette Funicello and the The Everly Brothers. Believe it or not Elvis Presley never performed on Bandstand. Besides all the stars inside, there are also photos of Dick Clark and his family and a look back stage at what it took to put the show on the air. Gee, if you were lucky to have been in the Bandstand Studio dancing, just maybe you will find yourself dancing on a photo in this yearbook. Wow how neat would that be?
*Condition of Yearbook; The front and back covers are in good+ condition. The inside pages are in very good condition, very clean and bright. **Covers: There is light wear to the front and back covers and to the spine; minor chipping along the front top edge; small water mark along the left and right front edges; a crease mark at the top and bottom front corners; four tiny light gray marks near the center of the back cover; a tiny crease mark at the top and bottom back left corners.
Also included with the Yearbook is this very rare TV Life, complete television listings,from October 10th, 1953, which was sold at Acme Super Markets and American Stores, and was published in the Philadelphia, Pa. There are 34 pages in this TV Life. In this issue is a two page story on Bandstand. Bandstand is celebrating its One Year Anniversary with first year host, Bob Horn. Originally Bandstand was hosted by Bob Horn. This TV Life has a two page article on its first year on TV along with two pictures from the show. American Bandstand started in 1952 on WFIL, a Philadelphia ABC affiliate, and went on to become one of television's longest running and most successful shows. When Bob Horn was fired, Dick Clark became the host on July 9, 1956, and Rock n' Roll history was made.
This TV Life gives a glimpse of the Golden Age of TV and the many great shows that are still seen today on special cable stations.

The inside pages are in very good condition. **Covers: There is wear along the spine and minor wear to the front and back covers; a 2 1/8" tear at the bottom and a 1¼" tear at the top of the spine; tiny crease marks and a tiny piece is missing from the bottom front left corner; tiny crease marks at the front top and bottom corners; tiny crease marks and a tiny piece is missing from the back top and bottom left corners; minor chipping along the back left edge. *Inside pages: There is a tiny crease mark at the top right corner of the first 12 pages.
What a very special gift to give mom, dad, or a grandparent that appeared on Bandstand in the 1950's or 1960's, boy would they be surprised after opening the gift. However if you collect Vintage Rock n' Roll Memorabilia, both of these pieces will be a great addition to any collection.
