Offered for sale are Three 1950's Alaska Sportsman Magazines, each showing a virgin Alaska through great photos and stories told by those who live there. These magazines are are dated October 1957, Volume 23, Number 10--November 1957, Volume 23, Number 11--and January 1958, Volume 24, Number 1. They are published monthly by Alaska Publishing Company at Ketchikan, Alaska. The magazines capture Alaska as you never saw it before with great black and white photos from the past. Every magazine is packed with fantastic stories giving you a glimpse of everyday life told by businessmen and local villagers. Listed below are some of the most interesting stories found throughout all three magazines.

These 16 examples may sound very strange. But remember, these were told by local folks giving their first hand accounts and then sending the stories to the magazine for publication.
**Condition: October, 1957: Front and back covers are in good condition and inside pages are in very good condition. *Covers: There is stress and tiny tears along the spine, a small part of the front cover near the top edge is worn off, minor chipping along the right edge of the front cover, and a address label along the bottom edge. There are a few tiny tears and one ¼" tear along the left edge of the back cover. There is a tiny crease mark at the bottom right corner of the front cover and at the top and bottom left corners of the back cover. *Inside pages: There is a tiny crease mark at most of the corners.
**Condition: November, 1957: Front and back covers are in good condition and the inside pages are in very good condition. *Covers: There is stress along the spine, minor wear along the top and bottom edges, crease marks at the bottom right corner of the front cover. There is a crease mark down the center of the back cover, and a crease mark at the bottom left corner of the back cover. *Inside Pages: There is a tiny crease mark at most of the bottom right corners.
**Condition: January, 1958: Front and back covers are in good- condition and the inside pages are in very good condition. *Covers: There is a tiny tear and wear along the top edge, wear and stress along the spine, an 1" tear at the bottom of the spine, a crease mark down the center of the front and back covers, minor chipping along the bottom edge; chipping along the right edge, small crease mark at the bottom left corner, and minor chipping along the bottom edge of the back cover.
