Stunning and very impressive tea set, a piece of Museum, usually wrongly attributed to Dr. Christofer Dresser but designed originally by Jean Gene Theobald with the name "Diament" tea set. Jean G. Theobald (American, active 1920s-1930s)
This later version was manufactured in UK in the 50s by the prestigious silversmith James Dixon and Sons and is made off light metal silver plated, dark tinted wood finials and is marked on bottom JD &S.

The tea service set was designed by Gene Theobald in an Art Deco style four piece silver plated tea set comprising teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl with wooden finials to lids on a two handled tray. Fitting perfectly.

This is an exquisite contemporary silver plated tea set in the stunning Art Deco style. With a Modernist look and present in Modern Art Museums around the world. A piece more to display than use it. made of light thin metal.
