This is a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Ladle, perfect for serving gravy or sauces.

It was made by James Deakin & Sons and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1904.

The ladle has a lovely deep oval bowl and and a smooth, shaped handle. The maker’s mark and Hallmarks are on the back of the handle.

The Silver is shiny with a bit of tarnish and light scratches.

It weighs 60.8g.

It’s a medium sized ladle, measuring 16.5cm in length (6 1/2 inches).
