Description: Beautifully detailed hand made Arts and Crafts era treasure (1890-1920s). This Amethyst ring is a one of a kind, rare and unique piece of history sure to please its next owner. The natural central emerald cut Amethyst has very few inclusions and is a lovely mid-purple shade. The edges are well protected in the bezel setting. There is a small nick to one corner which is nearly impossible to find upon close inspection with the naked eye and is mentioned for accuracy only, as light signs of wear are to be expected with a pre-owned ring of this vintage. The total length of the ring is 22mm long including the decorative gold work. The bezel surrounding the Amethyst by itself measures 13mm long by 11mm wide. The ring is unmarked for gold and has been tested both with acid and electronically. Recently sized up from a 3.5 to a 7 - 7.5, the design of the setting allows for a little wiggle room, thus the large range. It is able to be sized but any larger and the band would have a elongated oval look rather than a rounder ring shape. Sizing down is no issue. If you would like us to size your ring inquire for a sizing quote, there is currently a three week turnaround time for sizing. We have 3 business days after receiving a return to examine the item to ensure it has been returned in unaltered condition before a refund is issued. There will be a restocking fee of 10%. We are currently only shipping within the United States.
