This English brass Single Candlestick is a wonderful example of late 1800's Victorian metal craft design. It was found over 25 years ago in London.
The simple form will go with any decor.
The Candlestick has been repaired in the bottom as seen with the small rod in the photos. There are minor scratches and a couple of minor dents as a result of age and normal use. The Candlestick will polish up well if you prefer. I have chosen not to polish to give you the option of what look and patina you prefer.
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. Variations in the color of brass are a result of different proportions of the dark red copper and white toned zinc. True gold color of brass is 83% copper and 17% zinc.
The Candlestick measures 9.75" Tall x 3.625" Wide and Deep. It weighs 15.60 ounces or 442 grams.
