Early Ming bowl. Paintings with floral spays and phonix birds. Outstanding paint quality. The body in porcelain (light weight porcelain), has some manufacturing defects, but no damage or cracks. The typical decoration technique, which was painted directly onto the leather-hard porcelain body, gives this very attractive effects of the painting. A bowl in this quality is extremely rare.
