We are selling this large Italian classical style landscape Capriccio painting. The painting is very much in the style of Francisco or Giacomo Guardi, who painted very similar scenes. We believe it is early 19th century and possibly Giacomo or more likely a follower of either, it could possibly be late 18th century, or early 20th century.

Condition: Heavy crazing throughout to the oil paints. Some flaking of paint near the edges. Possibly re-lined or early 20th century fantasy.
