This lovely Georgian-era pendant comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This piece features the dove-shaped symbol of the Holy Ghost, also known as the Saint Esprit. This symbol was popular in late eighteenth and early nineteenth century France. This piece is set throughout with faceted and sparkly paste set in silver. This piece would look beautiful hung from a chain or a ribbon.
