Signed Crown Trifari frog brooch from the 1952 Alfred Philippe series "Park Avenue Zoo". A book piece, this cute little pin is featured in an ad pictured on page 194 of Julia Carroll's Collecting Costume Jewelry 202 for Mother's Day. This little guy had a faux pearl body, blue rhinestone limbs and red rhinestone eyes set in gold plated metal.

In excellent to very good vintage condition. Only possible issue is a little of the gold plating has rubbed off on high wear areas.
