Shiebler & Co. the Bowl was produced after the Company's relocation to Brooklyn, NY (from Baltimore, MD) and has an approximate date of production set at or around the year (1900). This beautiful Piece is truly the epitome of the Art Nouveau, artistic period. The bold and intricate style is vividly accentuated by an: ornate, Repousse, design; with a strong floral theme that is commonly associated with the Art Nouveau Era. The Bowl is comprised of a: thick, quality, [.925] Sterling Silver. As noted, the Sterling Bowl is richly decorated in a large, Repousse, pattern. The Sterling has been polished to a bright, reflective, shine; with an appropriate amount of Patina left to aid in illuminating the aforementioned Repousse, pattern. A lovely monogram is engraved into the Face of the Bowl, giving the Antique a sense of authenticity. The condition of the Sterling Bowl is especially noteworthy.
