This large antique pitcher is a State Series Pattern representing the state of Kansas. Thus its' name. It also has a secondary name, "Jewel with Dewdrop". This pattern was manufactured by two different glass companies: Cooperative Flint Glass Co. in the 1870"s and The U.S. Glass Co., circa 1901. The pattern consists of beaded vertical panels with circles and ovals (also beaded), alternating with clear panels. The base and rim are pleasantly scalloped. There are a few small bubbles near the bottom, which verify its' age.
It is 8" high, 7-1/2" wide, and in excellent condition.
