This cute little German bisque doll is a very nice example of the candy containers made at the end of the 19th century. Her costume is all original and in very good condition aside from minor wear to her shoes. Her bisque head is without damage. I was not able to open her as I did not want to force the cone, which makes up her torso. I will leave that to her new owner who might even find some 19th-century candy inside. Just be sure to only use it for display, not for consumption. I think these novelty items made in Germany at this time are very interesting additions to doll collections.
