This doll is one of the most beloved of the Gebruder Heubach Character Children. She is a bisque shoulder-head on a rivet-jointed kid body with bisque hands and compo legs from the knee joint.
She has glass sleep eyes, a closed mouth and very fine perfect bisque head and shoulder-plate. Her painting is exquisite, and she has lovely modeling and that first out of the mold look collectors love. She has her original mohair wig and is wearing an antique Scottish costume complete with sporran and antique shoes and socks. Her kilt matches her bloomers and her scarf has a silver metal clip. Circa 1912.
Marks: 3 incised on back of head, 7246 Germany and the Heubach sunrise mark are incised on the back of the shoulder-plate as shown.
